Senior Acquisition Specialist
Current- Supervising the Acquisition Department including the Seismic Tow Streamers and OBC (Ocean Bottom Cable) in 2D, 3D and 4D Surveys, Acquiring, recording and monitoring seismic data exceeding agreed specifications without QHSE incident. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the onboard and insea seismic equipment and analysis of QC products. Supervising the execution of surveys such that the acquisition products meet the necessary quality acceptance criteria. -Vast Experience working in Multi vessel operations with wide spreads; Coil and WAZ Seismic Surveys with maximum spread length of 12km x 12 cabls (Q-Marine) and OBC (Ocean Bottom Cable) with dual recording boats (Q-Seabed)-Assisting in managing all components of the company standard vessel IT and communication network (UNIX and NT servers, switches, routers, pbx and peripheral equipment).- I Began in 2006 as Trainee Acquisition Specialist at Westerngeco in the Gulf of Mexico with tow streamers using Q-Marine during a WAZ Survey, being and active member on Workboat operations. Then became Junior Acquisition Specialist, continue learning and applying all the safety standards developed to keep the QHSE on line in all areas (Backdeck operations, workboat operations, instrument room), then promoted to Acquisition Specialist absorbing all the necessary knowledge regarding operations, systems and personnel management building the path to the supervising level. Then became Shift Leader Acquisition Specialist, being the responsible of the Acquisition Department operations during a shift, making sure; all the Data Quality guidelines are taking place, the correct safety rules and standards are being applied on any kind of operations, managing personnel during a complete shift, planning and developing next seismic surveys projects.- Experience using TRIACQ system to perform Geometric setting on seismic data. Performed advanced mapping analysis with High-fidelity seismic images using Q-Marine and Q-Seabed
