I have recently commenced employment with AMEC, joining a strong team of aquatic ecology and water quality specialists working on large infrastructure projects principally in the oil and gas sector. My role at AMEC is largely technical, mentoring and high level quality control of projects that are aquatic focussed, or of the aquatic components of larger projects.

Ecosure Pty Ltd purchased Aquateco Consulting in August 2011, and I remained with Ecosure as Principal Aquatic Ecologist following the transition, working with their team to win and deliver new aquatic work and clients.

I started my own boutique aquatic ecology consultancy in October 2004, focussing on clients in the water infrastructure, mining, Government and development sectors. Whilst at Hydro Tasmania I led a team of up to 12 aquatic ecology specialists and was responsible for the scoping, implementation and delivery of the company's $2m Aquatic Environment Program. This program included risk assessment of the operational impacts of Australia's largest hydropower company on Aquatic Ecosystems and the development of associated technical and stakeholder programs. I also led consulting teams undertaking aquatic ecosystem assessments for a range of external clients.
