A little more about me, I commenced my career in the Coal Industry in the early 1980’s with Carbon Consulting International (CCI) in Gladstone and later at Head Office in Newcastle. During these 10 years with CCI I managed to gain a very detailed understanding of the Coal Supply Chain from the in pit resource to the end product at Port.I continued in Coal Preparation and Analysis with SGS Australia in their Newcastle Laboratory and later managing branches at Mount Thorley and Muswellbrook Laboratories.Joining QMASTOR in 2005 as their Coal Supply Chain Expert and Senior Systems Consultant. This role saw me travel globally successfully delivering major projects in Australia, Indonesia and South Africa. I progressed on as QMASTOR’s Service Delivery Manager and with Triple Point after the acquisition of QMASTOR in late 2011. As a Sales Consultant in Triple Points Asia Pacific Sales team I am utilising my 30 + years experience in Supply Chain and Logistics Management to secure sales primarily in the Asia Pacific and also providing supporting sales functions traveling extensively internationally to North America, Canada, South America, Africa, and Europe as required.Reconnecting with Bureau Veritas in 2015 as their Business Unit Manager of their Australian Flagship Coal Laboratory in Newcastle through to December 2018 when I took on the role of their Business Development Manager for commodities in Australia. In October 2021 I then transitioned to the role of NSW Operations Manager - Commodities, overseeing Bureau Veritas's commodities business interests in NSW. In April of 2023 I took the opportunity to apply my diverse skill set to businesses outside of the mining industry for the first time in decades and while the experience has been an eye opener, my passion for the coal and wider mining industry remains well and truly alive.I'm genuinely thrilled to apply my extensive years of experience and valuable skillset to elevate and refine your business for maximum efficiency and growth.
