Direct the SDLC process and all hosting services related to application services for Development and Alumni organizations. Appointed to lead eCRM product advisory group of 30 peer institutions to help drive product services and innovation to large universities.

Oversee staff of 40, operations, and infrastructure for all hosting and data center services for a large multinational company headquartered in Foxboro Ma. Create a data center consolidation modernization program designed to consolidate at least 1/3 of the existing environment into a combination of hybrid public and private cloud offerings built using virtualization hardware and software. Modernize the internal physical data center to create global centers for hosting and consolidation to support primary ERP and SAP systems. Oversee architecture and operations in a 24x7 follow the sun model with teams in India , Europe, North America, and Australia.

The key leadership role overseeing all details of global migrations of all 70 key SAP landscapes and critical applications to a single data center in Europe. Staff of 50+ project resources. Primary vendor manager overseeing all aspects of the program relationship with T-Systems.

Review all monthly SLA reporting for all services. Prepare, review and defend all yearly Audit requirements for internal and external auditors related to HIPAA, SOx, Cobit, SAS70 for all outsourced applications. Manage and approve any and all changes to the services catalogue for all ITIL based serviced provided by IBM

Responsible as Philips lead for solution and technology design of global outsourcing service desk and technical support for all Philips IT (~250 million contract) Facilitated transfer of over 200 fulltime global former employees (about 80%) to outsourcing firms dealing with complex international HR laws and regulations regarding employee outsourcing

Represent global healthcare and all North American Philips users at an executive IT level. Establish and lead a project and program office and managing 12 senior-level PMs and technical/solution architects driving global strategy and tactics

Reporting to the CIO with responsibility to develop 1st global operational change management process for all IT operations by integration of regional operation change management processes into a single ITIL framework.

• Designated as Healthcare Lead Representative for Philips Architecture Board (7 members total). Developed 5-year roadmap for infrastructure services and strategy including web 2.0, email, collaboration tools, network, telecom, end user devices, mobile technologies, and data centers• Led Phillips' most successful integration to date as Overall Program Manager (PMI) for Respironics, a $5 billion company with 4000 employees, headquartered in Pittsburgh. • Managed and developed the PMO for Healthcare infrastructure which oversaw the project portfolio for global healthcare including methodology, ITIL process framework development and implementation, audit, and budget• Implemented a fundamental shift in work-life balance and saved over €40 million in facility-closing costs. (2004-2005)Highlights include:• First company to work directly with Microsoft to put MS Exchange directly on the internet (so Phillips employees can access the full range of enterprise services without “tunneling”).• Launched major WPI (Work Place Initiative): Increased the number of employees working from home. Cut overhead costs by closing and consolidating offices and implementing a “hotel” concept for offices with no assigned desks or offices for most employees.

• Consolidated acquisition teams into a single service group with160 people and $60M budget.• Developed and ran PMO and all ITIL processes development and implementation for North American Healthcare IT infrastructure operations team.• Led development of an organizational staffing model that transformed sector staff into central corporate operations (a model subsequently adopted throughout Philips global enterprise).

• Managed 25 IT engineers and consolidated IT engineering teams from four company acquisitions into a single, high-performing operations team managing network, telecom, and data center services. • Program Manager for largest infrastructure migration in Philips- a one way-weekend migration for the acquired Agilent Healthcare Solutions – with ~4000 employees and 4 manufacturing located in all 3 regions – with less than 10 hours of downtime. This project included 25 consultants, 100 employees, and $10 million monthly SLA budget and took 1 year to plan.

Managed eight-person operations staff. Integrated ERP and CRM systems and led relocation of €60 million global business from NJ to Natick Mass.

WINSTON BROTHERS WHOLESALE, Boston MA (1996–1999): Managed PC MIS, Purchasing, Receiving, and Warehouse. Researched and implemented an ERP system for a $15 million business. Supervised 14 warehouse and inventory personnel.McAULIFFE OFFICE SYSTEMS, Burlington VT (1992–1996), Computer Service Manager: Established profitable computer service department (department had been unprofitable for prior 5 years). Supervised 15 employees, directed network help desk, and managed computer part sales.BAYSTATE/COMMONWEALTH AMBULANCE COMPANY, Springfield Massachusetts (1987–1992): Dispatch Supervisor/ Emergency Medical Technician. Supervised up to 15 ambulances and crews. Managed a 5 nursing home evacuation during a multi-day chlorine fire.
