After a working career building other people's business my personal situation now allows me to pursue my life's passion for photography. With an interest from a young age when my father built a dark room and I developed and printed my own images, through to first earning an income photographing Tasmanian landscapes that sold as postcards and books this has been a constant. Shortly I will have a website up and running and look forward to sharing with you all my projects as they unfold! Oh, and how this fits into my wife and I's other project called "retirement"!

Following the sudden liquidation of Kingman Visual I have been fortunate enough to join with business owner Jamie Matthews to grow his Welshpool based signage business. With first class in house equipment including a 4m long router, laser cutter, new Roland digital printer and boom lift the business is very soundly based for growth. I hope to relieve the frustrating pressures that accumulate with the breadth of demands placed upon Jamie as an owner operator in small business, and to leave his business with an enduring legacy from the vast experiences I have gained in my career.The wonderful team at Signarama Welshpool have much to offer their clients and I am proud to be representing their substantial skills.

Located only 15 minutes from home the opportunity to work with Australia's most awarded sign company was simply too good to pass up as the industry experiences a growth period not seen for some years. Reconnecting with old industry colleagues at the annual golf day made me realise what I had missed, and I've been delighted to help many of them with the premium fabricated signage that Kingman have become legendary for. With booming growth in the digital realm and expansion into EV charging stations there certainly is plenty of scope to expand - who would have thought that the whole external cladding of your building could now be turned into a source of power generation! What a world - what opportunities!

The job that was too good to ignore!Travelling Australia and the Pacific my role is to service the accommodation venues for their digital & printed compendiums. This involves liaising with their service supply and tourism partners to ensure guests are informed about their offerings, enhancing their experience.JBG also supply venues with essentials such as linen and all room supplies.

With the amalgamation of Bokay Signage into the Jason Signmakers Group, an opportunity arose for me to consider how best to support my loyal client base moving forward. With five different paths presented for me to follow I chose to move to All Flags, and couldn't be happier with my choice!All Flags' national / international footprint and selection of 5 metre wide grand format printers, in-house fabrication, installation team of seven and 3D letter manufacture will certainly see my clients needs well looked after.I look forward to assisting with the company growth as it assimilates the recent purchases of Appealing Signs and LF Media into the organisation.

Having dealt with Bokay over a number of years since coming to Perth some 10 years ago I came to develop a real trust in their ability to repeatedly deliver quality signage products on time and at great prices. Getting to know the Meade family I came to understand the secret to their success over some 34 years since Bob and Kay established the company - customer service and upholding a strong sense of values and principals. In the process of placing another order with them my chat with Troy Meade turned to their search for a new BDM. After a chat with Bob and Troy and meeting the seriously impressive new General Manager Pat Hamer I was convinced to accept the challenge to apply my experience to the benefit of Bokay in progressing the company to the next exciting phase of it's development.

I worked with businesses applying my 30 years of consultancy experience to help create a strong, effective brand that connects with their target market through the communication mediums of web, print and visual display.Responsible for generating new business opportunities for the company in the area of branding, marketing & communications, websites and publications.

Allocated the responsibility for growing the company’s penetration of the signage and exhibition display business as the retail arm of Eurotech – national importers of display systems and signage hardware. The success of this role was such that it brought the company into conflict with Eurotech’s wholesale signage customers, leading to a management decision to abandon this focus for A Class Displays.

Responsible for generating new business opportunities for the company in the area of branding, marketing & communications and websites.

Responsible for new business development in the short run digital and offset print market. My contribution resulted in a strong revenue growth, going from $200,000 to $480,000 in just 12 months.
