As a Security Solutions Architect, I have a simple mission: helping companies develop programs that protect their applicaitons and systems from cyber security threats. Web applications, containers, infrastructure as code, and DevSecOps all present unique challenges to organizations as they search for solutions that protect their applicaitons and infrastructure. Solving application security issues is not just about selecting the right tools. Successful application security programs require cooperation across the organization and clear objectives for everyone involved. Business units, development teams, and security personnel need to work together to achieve common organizational goals. I not only help large, international organizations select solutions; I help them identify goals, metrics, and processes that will achieve their objectives across the entire SDLC.A former developer and leader of development organizations, I entered the application security space over fifteen years ago. During this time, I have helped many fortune 500 companies develop their AppSec programs. I've also led presales organizations in security and digital marketing. Seeing the trend towards AI and machine learning, I pursued and completed a Master's Degree in Predictive Analytics and Northwestern University, as well as holding a CISSP for over ten years.
