As a bioprocess engineer at Dakota BioWorx, I focus on the development and piloting of fermentation-based processes. Seeing clients and collaborators move past the difficult pilot stages of fermentation production is the measure of my team's success.

Contracting as a research engineering through South Dakota Mines I work as a subcontractor to design and cost a novel supercritical CO2 extraction system.

Instructed junior level chemical engineering students in CBE 361L (fluid dynamics laboratory) and co-instructed the senior process design & engineering economics course CBE 463 at the South Dakota School of Mines.

As a graduate teaching assistant I supported professors in lecture, office hours, and grading for several chemical engineering courses - CBE 222 process thermodynamics in the Fall of 2019 & CBE 501 fundamentals of chemical engineering in the Summer of 2021.As a graduate research assistant, I had assumed a leadership position within the CAPE lab on the Trion Energy battery project during the summer of 2021 to produce R&D deliverables by leading a team of hardworking undergraduate students.Throughout my years as a graduate student, I was able to buckle down during the pandemic and complete my thesis focused on molecular-dynamic simulation of deep-eutectic solvents.

Provided engineering design and consulting support as an engineering assistant on small projects while working part-time during my 2018-2019 school year. Moved to a full-time position to provide process engineering support for a plant startup for the PrairieAquatech plant in Volga, SD.
