About Greg Wurst
As a versatile, highly energetic, self-motivating individual who thrives in team environments, I have led and managed many successful programs. My broad background as an entrepreneur, engineer and manager at several small and large firms provide great versatility, depth of experiences, and excellent problem solving capabilities. Working with various teams of customers, teammates, and subcontractors, I have operated in an array of programs from startup and conceptual design through developmental test, production and sustainment, building an extremely diversified portfolio. I have managed teams comprised of differing levels and skillsets, spanning from mechanics and technicians to senior level engineers and logisticians. My programmatic experiences traverse highly technical engineering in research, development and test; project and subcontract management of design, development, and sustainment programs; and business development where I worked with Wall Street and venture capitalists to generate multi-billion dollar business plans. I have most recently rounded out my career through management of the F-35 Sustainment Performance and Decision Analytics Operations Team where we have successfully captured performance incentive fee resulting in direct bottom line profit for the company; while, at the same time successfully executing new program capture, proposal development, and negotiations on both national and international proposals. My roles have given me the knowledge necessary to manage programs throughout their entire life cycle process: from research and design to production and sustainment.
