Lead for Beatson Cancer Charity IT & Data Strategy and overall training.Heading up teams to support all staff and volunteers in their use of IT equipment and use of data/CRM systems & ensure staff remain trained at a high and skilled level in systems.Primary for big ticket projects involving system migrations, IT cloud migration, DPA & GDPR legislation adherence and ensuring our IT & Data systems meet ongoing requirements as we grow and open new sites and increase staff numbers to help support anyone affected by cancer in the West of Scotland.

Database Management/Administration of Maggie's Centres in house CRM &Fundraising database system & key project contact for the database migration project which has recently been completed across the organisation.Working with all fundraising and capital income streams to continually improve and streamline their data and processes.Key contact for data protection and database consultation as and when required, continued use of Microsoft Access to provide short term in house data cleansing solutions, as well Microsoft Excel for ad hoc reporting.Managing a small internal team to maintain and update the internal CRM and ensure data input is accurate and adheres to DPA guidelines ongoing.

Began with Digital-IP administering their remote dialler solution through Predictive-IP and managed their in house SQL Server systems.Moved over to City Park Technologies to then manage their SQL Server systems and Predictive Dialler back end systems.Gained a high degree of expertise in SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Windows 2003 & Windows XP support as well managing and mentoring new ICT staff.

I was brought on board to go through all data systems, centralising over 500 locally held sources of data, as part of the e-Government online services plan.Whilst there I produced a Personal Data Usage Policy for all staff, worked on structuring their database to ensure conformity to EU & British data legislation and educated staff on their personal responsibilities under Freedom of Information Act & Data Protection Act legislature.

Managing IT operations within Chorus Directs main contact centre with a small team of staff, and liaising with developers to ensure efficient development, testing & installation of new systems.Responsibilities included - In charge of database administration using SQL & Access, controlling both client-s data & predictive dialler database- Control of Chorus Direct ICT budget, reporting directly to Datalocators IT Director.- Maintenance & administration of Sytel / Chelston predictive dialler system.

My initial role in the IT department was to maintain and develop the consumer lifestyles survey system.The role was soon expanded to that of Systems / Database Administrator with chief responsibilities of call file administration & data analysis.
