Dr. Greta Feeney is a performer, educator, and arts executive whose work focuses on stimulating intellectual curiosity, compassion, and aesthetic awareness through an interdisciplinary approach to learning and experiencing music of lasting value. She brings a rich and varied skill set as an opera singer, chamber musician, and music scholar to the stage and the boardroom, where her approach to leadership is grounded in the belief that fully embodied organizational values manifest success.As Executive Director of Nantucket Music Center, Dr. Feeney launched a comprehensive visibility campaign including the development of a new logo, brand, and website to increase SEO performance and ROI efficiency, and has successfully collaborated on a 3-year strategic plan focused on enhancing program diversity and inclusivity, creating new revenue streams and strategic partnerships, and reducing costs.Dr. Feeney is a graduate of the Juilliard Opera Center and the Merola Program at the San Francisco Opera, where she was awarded the prestigious Adler Fellowship and Schwabacher Debut Recital. Her career with the San Francisco Opera spanned 15 years and included more than 25 opera productions. Dr. Feeney has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and the Herbst Theater with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the New Century Chamber Ensemble, and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and was a semi-finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, with awards from the Licia-Albanese Puccini, George London, and Koussevitsky Foundations. Dr. Feeney has served on the faculties of the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory, Bergen College, and the University of California, Santa Cruz, and holds degrees from the Mannes College of Music (BM), Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music (MM), and the State University of New York at Stony Brook (DMA).
