Throughout my 21 years in the community development sector, I have worked with U.S. and local partners overseas to develop management plans, analyze, monitor, assess and implement strategic plans, measure performance, provide direction, recommend and develop improvement plans, and conduct performance surveys. I have directly supervised and been accountable for programs and teams in multiple sites in Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa, in addition to having supervisory responsibility for U.S. based staff. In addition to managing at a program level, I have a proven track record managing projects from initiation to closing, delivering scope with expected quality on time and within budget. Currently, I am part of a business team responsible for building, testing, and training a User Interface System using agile deployment. My most recent positions, I have been responsible for the overall quality and compliance of programs. These responsibilities included implementing new initiatives across regions and divisions, ensuring the timely submission of required documents by project teams, monitoring project financial health, and meeting objectives for project improvements. The work required a hands-on approach, involving all stakeholders with planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, reporting, training, auditing, staffing, budgeting and outcome evaluation. As noted in my experience, I have proven communication, leadership and team-building skills. In addition, I hold a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
