As a toxicologist and risk assessment professional, I have over 20 years of experience helping clients understand the complex issues associated with exposure to toxicants, in the environment, or the workplace, or in medical products. I have worked with a diverse range of clients, ranging from individuals to multi-national corporations.Some areas of particular expertise including understanding exposures and risks associated with pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) and endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) released into our waterways as a result of public use of medications and other products; and characterizing the potential toxicity of substances that can leach from medical devices or other products ("extractables/leachables") into drug products, the blood stream, or other tissue.I'm particularly skilled at analyzing complex datasets, by intensively researching issues, applying statistical modeling approaches, and visualizing data. Extensive data have been generated and archived on environmental and medical issues, and more data are generated everyday. It is my belief that these data hold the solutions to many problems. My goal to unlock this information and present it in a way that can be understood by people of diverse backgrounds and interests.
