R.A.D. Instructor. A self-defense program for women that is taught each term to UO students. As our program continues to grow, we are hoping to make this course available to all women in the local community. This was done by utilizing foot, bicycle and vehicle patrols of the campus properties. I participated in public outreach and informational safety events. Frequently collaborated with municipal, county and state agencies during enforcement duties and special events.

Supervising a domestic violence caseload utilizing evidence based practices in order to reduce the risk of recidivism. I regularly implement the following programs with clients in order to assist in case management: Motivational Interviewing, Case Planning, Carey Guides, MRT/CBT, and treatment referrals.

Maintaining and reconciling access logs, conducting inventories, receiving/releasing evidence to officers, the court and owners. Utilizing approved storage guidelines for various property and evidence items including firearms, biohazards, drugs/paraphernalia, electronic data and found/safekeeping property. Keeping records and items in accordance with the statute of limitations.

Supervising and maintaining the safety of all staff and inmates in a correctional jail facility. Ensuring accountability, separation of risk levels and making appropriate recommendations when completing misconduct reports and other written records.

Earned rank of Sergeant during my enlistment with the Nevada Army National Guard. Deployed to Kuwait/Iraq March '03 - March '04 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/ Operation Enduring Freedom.
