Certified and experienced teacher who is always looking for the next opportunity to learn and teach others. I am looking forward to a new chapter in my career which will allow me to use my experience and curiosity to be a valued member of a new team. I have 23 years of elementary classroom experience as well as 10 years of adult education/training experience. Experience includes working with all grade levels from PreK-6th grade, including elemetary library and math remediation, as well as technology class. I have been the technology resource for our staff and students for several years, managing devices, rostering with the many programs we use in our district, supporting teachers with technology professional development, onboarding, troubleshooting, and management of accounts, and grant writing. In addition, I work for our local career/industry school to educate adults on the use of technology in their classroom. Writing my own curriculum for these programs has allowed me to learn the differences between young and adult students and best practices for their learning styles. I currently work with all grade levels of teachers in our building, matching student needs to current curriculum, which has helped me learn to work with many diverse personalities, expectations and working styles. I look forward to learning from others, and becoming a strong team member with a group of employees who are excited about their goals and have forward-thinking attitudes!
