Our family made the decision to commit to a long-distance commute to provide our oldest child with the best educational opportunities for her. With that commitment came what was originally viewed as a sacrifice- for me to be a home-maker in order to provide that transportation and scheduling flexibility. Instead, it has become an incredible blessing! While I'm excited to get back into the business world when the time comes, I'm enjoying the opportunities to focus on managing our home, finances, and schedules, to be more involved in our children's schools and education, to join philanthropic organizations like Tri-Kappa, to volunteer more often at our church, and to build new skills working on large-scale home-improvement projects! While a temporary life circumstance, it's turning out to be quite an adventure, for which I am incredibly grateful!
