Hello I'm Gretchen! I am a Learning & Instructional Design specialist based in Columbus Ohio. I started my career as a middle school teacher, transitioned to Administration as the Enrichment Coordinator for the district and then became a technology and instructional design coach. After 20+ years in education, I felt a stirring of the soul to explore learning and connection on a larger scale. I worked for an on-line education tech company designing their first on-line summer camp programming. I have continued my pursuit of intersecting learning and technology in my work as a trainer, facilitator and project manager in Cybersecurity. I strive to elevate the user experience by designing tailored, dynamic learning journeys that provide the platform for those moments where sparks of meaning and understanding emerge and ignite. Those transformational moments when a realization leads to a shift in understanding, a burst of confidence, and fuels creative expression. Learning is a collaborative effort and I embrace opportunities to help spark moments of insight and inspiration that lead to growth and change.
