I hold weekly office hours, develop weekly problem sets, and grade assignments. I also facilitate journal club discussions. I was awarded a TA citation for my role in this course.

I conducted research in the Optics in Medicine Lab developing quality assurance testing on Linear Accelerators using Cherenkov Imaging. I was awarded funding for this project from the Luce Scholars Program at Thayer.

I assist Dr. Caitlin Howe in her research on toxic metal exposures and their impacts on maternal and child health. My project focused on investigating the relationship between vitamin D levels and metal toxicity in maternal-fetal health based on data from the New Hampshire Birth Cohort Study.

I contributed to the development of an automated CT image segmentation algorithm to quantify muscle attenuation in L3 scans of insulin-dependent diabetic patients with Dr. Fjola Johannesdottir. I also audited Harvard Orthopedic Resident Anatomy class and Cadaver dissection and shadowed on-call orthopedic surgeons in the Emergency Department.

I held weekly office hours and graded assignments on modeling and analyzing lumped electrical, mechanical, fluid, and thermal systems.

As a TA, I was assigned project manager of a group of four students. I provided coaching and technical support to the team as they designed and prototyped a device to identify core shots in dynamic ropes. My team was awarded the Phillip R. Jackson award for excellence in engineering and I was awarded a TA citation for my role in facilitating the project.

I worked as a ski instructor in Jackson, WY over the 2020-2021 winter season. I taught downhill skill lessons to children and adults with levels of experience ranging from beginner to expert. Additionally, I taught Nordic ski lessons for the PE classes at Jackson Elementary School with the sister company 22Nordic. I conducted an extensive literature review on HIV prevention and education efforts in the Iganga district in Uganda and drafted multiple grant applications for UVP to continue their work. Additionally, I worked on a development team that conducted a SWOT analysis for UVP and recommended an action plan that included strategies for increasing donor participation and best utilizing funding streams, a communication matrix, and modifications to inter-organizational structure.

I taught stroke technique to ages 4-6 and 10-13, developed practice workouts, and planned meets.

In addition to lifeguarding, I also taught swim lessons to children with diagnosed anxiety disorders ages 3-12.
