Leadership of ILEA and ILEA Nashville is organized as follows:Internationally, ILEA is led by a twelve member Board of Directors. This Board communicates with the local chapters via Regional Vice-Presidents, each representing a geographic segment of the United States. Additionally, International Committees assist the Board of Directors in areas such as conference development, membership and education.The ILEA Nashville Board of Directors governs this local chapter and makes all decisions regarding our local educational programs, finances, communication with our members, etc. Elections to this board are held yearly and offer either one or two year positions.

• Collaborated with sales and event production teams to develop creative, memorable, and compelling proposals for themed events, tours, transportation, team building, and entertainment to meet the needs of clients and their budgets. Regularly involved in large ($500K+) programs and supported complex program development. • Oversaw intricate quoting and budget development while identifying opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings on all events• Established relationships with new vendors, developed new product, and researched new restaurants and venues for events• Edited, proofread, and formatted proposals, master proposal document, marketing materials, and press releases• Proactively continued education to stay on top of current trends by attending industry meetings, conferences, and educational seminars

• Developed company’s social media strategy and regularly contributed to its social media platforms• Maintained vendor and resource database to assure access to most current information

• Organized site inspections including establishing relationships and working with vendors on availability, creating a schedule, arranging transportation, and setting up décor• Supported sales managers by helping promote ongoing solicitation of new accounts and definite business

• Researched needs and interests of members and developed, planned, marketed, and executed events including dances, comedy shows, specialty dinners, children’s parties and carnivals, pool parties, holiday brunches, wine tastings, and trivia nights• Worked directly with General Manager, Executive Chef, Clubhouse Manager, Service Director, and Catering Director to determine room usage, menu selection, maximum capacity, room diagrams, and time length for all club events• Prepared detailed schedule of services and procured all required entertainment, specialty items, and equipment before all events• Created and organized files on all club events which included banquet event orders, newsletter articles, reservation sheets, vendor information, budget information, and after action reports• Maintained club’s master calendar of events, reservation sheets, and wrote monthly newsletter articles for club events• Assisted Catering Director with the implementation of weddings, large parties, luncheons, dinners, and golf and tennis tournaments• Developed and proposed marketing and advertising strategies and actions to increase member attendance for events

• Managed reseller and end user accounts for Georgia, Texas, and the Western United States and used Sales Logix to maintain information on these accounts• Met with resellers and end users to demonstrate products and establish relationships with their companies• Developed new business opportunities using a variety of marketing efforts
