Gretchen was part of the final season of Dance Alloy Theater, it's 35th, as the premiere modern dance company in Pittsburgh. The company performed two Main Stage Home Seasons a year at the New Hazlett Theater on the Northside, as well as local festivals and events, including Pittsburgh's FIRST NIGHT and THREE RIVERS ARTS FESTIVAL, as well as touring regionally, nationally and internationally.

Gretchen was a founding member of AWCDE started by Greer Reed-Jones who was also the Artistic Director of the Dance Alloy in Pittsburgh. Focused on African American Culture, the August Wilson Dance Ensemble performs in and around the Pittsburgh area... in 2012 was named to Dance Magazine's Top 25 To Watch.

LABCO was a modern dance company in Pittsburgh, PA. It disbanded in June of 2009 due to lack of funds.

During the past 4 years as faculty at the Dance Alloy Theater School, Moore has taught creative dance, hop hop, jazz & modern technique classes. The format of the classes ranges from gym classes at elementary schools to monthly masterclasses for enrichment students. She is extremely pleased to say that this past summer she was on faculty for the Jones Summer Dance Intensive held at the Dance Alloy for Pittsburgh dance students.
