Class sections are limited to RN students only, allowing projects to reflect real world professional nursing. Family Alliance has been providing community mental health services for over thirty years to adults in the McHenry County area. Board Certified Nurse Executive (ANCC) with oversight of outpatient services. Services include Psychiatry, Outpatient Counseling, and a Post-Recovery Day Program. Additionally, specialty services are provided for the care of memory loss including a Memory Care Day Program and Caregiver Support Programs offering training, education, and support groups. In 2012 Family Alliance was the recipient of the Outstanding Adult Day Service Award conferred by the National Adult Day Services Association. • Train staff on use of EMR software (both server-based and cloud-based). • Track occurrences, infection data, client demographics, etc. and run reports on same• Translate data reports to graphic format for presentation (Proficient user of Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)• Educate staff on regulatory and accrediting standards, train as needed based on occurrence reporting trends.• Lead members of management team in formulation and review of Agency Plans (i.e. Risk Management, Accessibility, Technology, Disaster Preparedness, etc.).• Serve as Privacy Officer• Serve as point of contact person for and ensure agency-wide compliance with accrediting bodies for Behavioral Health (TJC and CARF). • Precept RN to BSN students for 16-week capstone project in leadership, management, and final teaching presentation.
