Gretchen spent these 18 years building the foundation for what would eventually become pLink, first as an internationally recruited graphic facilitator with niche expertise in strategy development, then as a strategy consultant and facilitator.She considers the eight years she spent as a graphic facilitator to be her “Gladwell 10,000 Hours.” Through 2003, she honed her ability to understand how people think by listening to hundreds of them, all over the world, simultaneously transforming words of one into meaning for many. With her back to the room, she visually captured the creative process of executive leaders for companies and organizations in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Malaysia. She worked in an array of industries, tech, health, social benefit, consumer goods and the military.After 2003, Gretchen augmented her leadership development philosophy to incorporate the development of people, in addition to strategy and infrastructure. She used both art and science to guide leadership teams from strategy to execution.
