With over 25 year's investment banking and M&A experience predominantly with public companies in the resources and industrial sectors plus some work in technology and venture capital I have a broad range of practical experience as a trusted advisor to Boards and management teams. Further I have developed a wealth of experience with capital raising and the buying and selling of assets and companies. I have been very proud to be a Partner at KPMG Australia and also play an active role in our global business in the mining M&A sector. I consider my leadership style to be collaborative, inclusive and decisive. I have a beautiful family and with my wife we have a keen interest across many activities for both ourselves and our 4 boys. As a family we collectively and actively participate in everything from skiing, snowboarding, cricket, road and mountain bicycling, surfing, triathlon, football and hockey as well as we love to travel and go camping together. Carol and I have always taken an active interest in volunteering in our community through participation in our children's sporting clubs and schools and actively support several charity organisations.Carol and I have taken a personal interest in assisting the homeless and strongly believe that we can mitigate this problem one person at a time but it requires mentorship, dedication and personal sacrifice not just money. Success is always hard to measure but perseverance must be a key KPI.
