    I was the second IT employee hired for this extremely fast-growing company, which experienced more than 800% revenue growth in my first 12 months of employment. I built out the IT infrastructure from a greenfield and implemented a range of IT infrastructure and new technologies from ground up, including virtualization (VMware), SAN, switched/routed networking, network security, VPN, WAN (MPLS/Metro Ethernet), Cisco/SIP IP telephony, and call-center systems. I recruited, trained, and developed an infrastructure team of nine and a help desk team of nine while simultaneously serving as a team contributor and manager. Key accomplishments include the following: I implemented a fully virtualized server/SAN environment, routed/switched network, and remote access for all employees within two months of hire.I led the planning, installation, and configuration of all IT systems, networking, and telephony, as well as the reconstruction of the cable plant, for the company's move/expansion to an 800,000 square-foot office and distribution-center complex within eight months of hire.I brought two additional company facilities online, fully supported and integrated by IT, for a total of four facilities comprising 1.2 million square feet of office and distribution space within 24 months of hire.I completed two major call-center project implementations within six months.I designed and managed the implementation of the company's corporate data center. I implemented a highly redundant network topology to achieve the company-mandated 99.9% uptime service-level agreement.I oversaw the company’s initial PCI DSS certification and managed compliance in the absence of a dedicated security FTE.
