I am guiding Datalore’s prospective customers through the whole proof-of-concept (POC) process, advising them about technical architecture solutions, and helping new customers install Datalore across different clients’ infrastructures. My current responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Working with customers to plan and execute POC activities, allowing them to test Datalore with their own data.- Helping customers successfully install Datalore in their environments and start using the product, and support them on their journey to adopting it.- Collaborating with the Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to communicate prospective customer priorities.- Helping fine tune Installation guides based on customer needs and feedback.- Assisting with activities for building the sales pipeline.

I led pre-sales, design, deployment and consistent delivery of Canonical’s cloud solutions based on OpenStack, Kubernetes and Ubuntu itself.Also, I was coaching Canonical’s field sales team, providing advisory and technical consultations at the events, customer calls, on-site visits etc.Achievements:- I’ve supervised a team of two engineers, which successfully have designed, deployed and handed 4 clouds for the biggest Russian telco - MTS, which has been a key customer in the region.- Restructured an onboarding training course for the sales team, covering the most frequently asked questions, hence the onboarding process has been simplified and reduced by 50% (from 2 months to 1)- More than 15 successfully closed deals and deployed private clouds with me as a lead engineer.Tech stack: Ubuntu, MAAS, Juju, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Python

I owned the development and maintenance of an existing cloud infrastructure (in-house fork of OpenStack with the custom Virtuozzo hypervisor driver).Achievements:- Amplified the infrastructure-related deployment success rate from 80% to 98-99%Established a consistent hardware inventory and monitoring system across the three physical locations (Moscow, Novosibirsk, Boston), so the incident response time has been reduced from hours to minutes.- Implemented a software development and deployment workflow inside the department (previously there wasn’t any). As a result, a mandatory code review and peer approval process has been introduced, which has reduced a human factor influence.- Eliminated multiple instances of the deployment artifact storage and merged them into the single source-of-truth repository. This has reduced the project build time approximately by 20%, because the build server and artifact storage were located at the same physical location.- Driven the company-wide hybrid cloud provisioning. In scope of this project, I have designed and implemented the connection layer between the existing infrastructure and Azure public cloud, considering all of the business requirements, including cost management and analysis.Tech stack: CentOS/RHEL, OpenStack, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Python, ELK/Graylog, KVM, Virtuozzo/OpenVZ, Zabbix, Azure, AWS

My responsibilities in this role included estimating the development effort based on the business requirements from the customer, identifying the missing parts (and fulfilling them), choosing the most cost and effort-effective stack for the upcoming project and implementing the backend part of the requested application.Achievements:- Built an internal CI/CD system based on Jenkins and automated the testing workflow.- Has stepped into the PM role and successfully facilitated the project while the team was lacking resources.

I have developed and maintained the real-time news collection and analysis system.Achievements:- Worked with the scientific team and successfully reduced the search response time from minutes to seconds by optimizing the search and analysis algorithms.- Implemented a noise reduction and duplicate news entries removal algorithm.
