CurrentGrowth Path:Apr 12 – Present COOApr 08 – Mar 12 Global CIOApr 05 – Mar 08 CIOMar 02 –Mar 05 Manager The journey here has been enriching and rewarding in terms of different roles, strategy planning, leveraging of IT technologies, stakeholder management and global operations.Currently, I am heading end-to-end responsibilities including P&L ownership for all business verticals such as sales & marketing, operations, technology, production, purchase, planning, finance, SCM, logistics and team management for span of operations encompassing 5 plants in India, 1 in Ireland and 7 Warehouses.Achievements in this role include achievement of P&L targets, operationalization of 3 Warehouses (Australia, USA & India) and 1 plant in Bhopal, setting up of large scale specialized warehouse in Ludhiana, establishment and generation of successful outcome of its operations, development of control checks & governance framework, reduction in WIP cycle, cost savings, improvement in material trace-ability, set up of dedicated customer & complaint support desk, credit monitoring department, introduction of Cloud Computing, centralization of cloud telephony, building of e-commerce business portal & more.Previous to this, helmed global IT operations and successfully executed business transformation/migration/acquisition projects, set up a business in UK, drove cost optimization initiatives, created a SCM back-end team in India. Over the years, introduced new technologies like Cloud Computing, implemented SAP ERP, managed/upgraded MAN/WAN networks, implemented DR site, negotiated on software license costs.In the initial period, set up and scaled an IT business company Deepak Infosys Ltd providing end-to-end software services & B2B services (import-india.com).
