I worked on a variety of projects ranging from ICE Reports, Signal Timing Projects, 4-to-3 Lane Conversion Traffic Studies, ITS projects, and some final design projects. In this role, I learned the analysis and logic behind making recommendations for changes to existing infrastructure. I worked in six major groups within traffic (Planning, Data Collection, Operations, Traffic Studies, ITS, and Final Design). During my time at Alliant, I learned how to work better as part of a team, how we keep projects organized, and how to better use programs that are used widely in the Traffic/Transportation area of Civil Engineering.
