- Provide administrative support to ensure that the TRAPROBIO operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner. - Order and maintain all project office supplies.Prepare correspondence, presentations and/or reports and budgets as required. - Follow-up on correspondence and outstanding requests. - Setup and cleanup of facilities utilised by the Project Team. - Assist the Project Team with general document distribution, scanning, copying, etc. - Perform additional assignments per Project Leader’s direction. - Maintain and organise electronic and hard-copy filing systems. - Draft documents, programmes and formal letters necessary for the annual TRAPROBIO Summer School held in Potchefstroom. - Co-ordinate TRAPROBIO Summer School. Arrange travel, accommodation and honorarium for visiting lecturers. - Assist the Project Team with the arrangements of national and international TRAPROBIO Conferences.

General and administrative responsibilities:- Help prioritise work-related responsibilities and delegated portfolios to new temporary lecturers and colleagues. - Assess and compile reports pertaining to delegated portfolios. - Advise and assist multiple lecturers regarding administrative functions relevant to the modules such as, tests, tutoring students, managing documents on eFundi (electronic sources) and correspondence with students. - Assist the faculty as academic advisors during the registration process at the beginning of each academic year. - Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by senior colleagues. Participate in all academic and professional activities of the faculty including administrative and academic orientated meetings, research and outreach.Academic responsibilities:- Act as TLS (Telematic Learning System) lecturer. - Assist students and evaluate/grade submitted assignments. (TLS) - Supervise LLB students with research reports. - Give formal lectures if asked to do so. - Encourage and motivate students to improve themselves academically, especially low achievers. - Tutor and/or facilitate risk modules. - Partake in academic discussions. - Keep records of the student’s results, activities and attendance. - Set test papers. - Moderate module’s class tests prior to the test date. - Moderate graded class tests. - Assist with the marking of multiple final examinations. - Finalise marks. - Assist any general academic administration as may be assigned by senior colleagues.

- Proof read, correct and modify undergraduate and graduate assignments and dissertations. - Assess the performance of various students and assist them by enhancing their Afrikaans and English reading, writing, and speaking skills.- Motivate the students to formulate and critically apply legal arguments in their research.
