Once a chef, now in sustainable building, still a master gardener pondering organic food systems. Currently immersed in the RESNET world as a Quality Assurance Designee. Sometimes a trainer, often a mentor, always an energy modeling problem-breaker. I manage a small team of Rater Field Inspectors and Energy Raters in the Northern Colorado / Wyoming area. I've been involved in Platte River Power Authority's Efficiency Works program, LEED jobs, PHIUS (Passive House) structures, and worked with an array of builder-clients ranging from nationally recognized giants to municipal level charities to deliver a suite of services spanning from basic IECC compliance to the most dizzying DOE and EPA programs. Helped qualify the first homes in the EPA's stringent ENERGY STAR NextGen program for those who lost their homes during the 2021 Marshall Fire in Boulder, Colorado before the program was fully published.
