Deliver printed promotional materials around Indy, help with e-marketing through social media, and find new locations for promotional materials and new ways to spread the word about event.

As a Bohlsen intern, I assisted staff in writing materials such as press releases and pitches, participated in brainstorming sessions, and researched and compiled media distribution lists. I wrote the media alerts for Mercury Ballroom shows in Louisville and distributed them to the media using Vocus. In addition, I developed blogger relations, assisted with market research and media outreach, and participated in street team efforts. One of my largest projects was running a client's social media account and posting on it daily through Hootsuite.

As an intern at Mick, I worked on a multitude of projects. I conducted research on up and coming bands, posted for artists on social media and used analytics to analyze the reach, and upheld basic receptionist duties. Every day in the office I would assist managers with daily tasks, such as creating one sheets, promotional materials, and weekly show calendars. I also created a weekly digital statistics spreadsheet for each artist by using Next Big Sound and social media analytics.

Acted as official Album Advocate for Lily & Madeleine before the release of their first album. Ran an email campaign that went out to 16,000 fans through MailChimp, which garnered 2,000 responses. Was in charge of a Twitter account that connected with fans and organized contests. Other responsibilities included compiling weekly album updates with news articles and radio statistics for the artist.

Worked in the Butler University Office of Admission as a student ambassador. Conducted tours for prospective students, assisted with office work, and attended Butler open houses to mingle with interested students.

Acted as assistant swim coach for the Westover Wild Orcas Summer League Swim Team. Ran swim practices, taught kids ranging from 4-18 years old, conducted private swim lessons.

Offered exceptional customer service by creating a comfortable and exciting shopping experience within the store. Maintained the high standards of store appearance, organization, and customer care. Promoted the Anthropologie ideals and personality.
