Performed system analysis on receiving system for complete re-write to integrate with trailer management system. Team lead on trailer management and shipment status system. Overhauled existing supplier rating system to enhance usability, effectiveness, and allowed suppliers access through extranet. Developed database scheme and application design for new pricing system estimated to save $2B a year. Created intranet supplier performance system used to negotiate multi-million dollar pricing contracts. Managed major Y2K implementations in purchasing and audit trail systems through the use of several contractors. Maintained mission critical purchasing and material planning systems. Documented nightly batch processing to define possible bottlenecks.
