I am from Louisville, Kentucky where I attended DuPont Manual High School. During my four years at duPont Manual, I was in the MST program, where I excelled in various math science, and technology classes. I also was a part of the Men's Varsity Swim Team throughout my high school career. Over the past 7 summers, I have had a job. I started as a lifeguard at the Plainview Swim Center. As one of the largest public pools in the city, I was responsible for the monitoring and safety of thousands of people a day as well as maintaining the proper chemical levels in the pool. I was a lifeguard for 4 years before I decided to become a coach for the Plainview Swim and Dive Team. At Plainview, I managed the relationship differences between multiple other coaches as well as over 230 kids ages 3-18. Because of the vast age difference, I was either teaching kids how to swim or writing sets for my more experienced swimmers every day. I am currently a student-athlete at Bellarmine University where I am a part of the Men's Varsity Swim Team, which has instilled the values of hard work, dedication, and determination within me. Additionally while balancing 20 hours of practice a week with my course load as a student, I also have maintained my job as a Student Assistant at the University of Louisville Shelbyville Campus where I served a wide variety of roles and completed any tasks asked of me in a reasonable time.
