Born and raised in the heart of Atlanta with a strong passion for athletics and entrepreneurship. My original focus and dream as an early child through college was to become a professional soccer goalkeeper. With a day-in and day-out focus through travel league and then ultimately college soccer, I learned the value of teamwork, the importance of details, and how making sacrifices and taking risks impacted my team and personal performance. As I became of age to enter the part-time workforce in early high school I continually struggled to get excited about working a "job" and fought back the idea of a regular part-time gig. Ideas became flowing, and I sent out my first email blast to my local neighbors promoting my new landscape business "Druid Hills Lawn Care". I built this small business through high school and left it behind once I signed my college scholarship for Georgia State University. I was the starting goalkeeper for the Panthers until everything changed in the Fall of 2015, I suffered from a career-ending head injury which left me to resign and hang the boots up. I tried 3 jobs once I lost my scholarship including working at the school gym, men's warehouse, and waiting tables. I just couldn't do it. I went back to my parent's garage where I still had my old lawnmower and trimmer, passed out 500 flyers sent emails, and started Druid Hills Lawn Care back up. Through college, I acquired a strong passion for Finance and gained valuable experience through two internships and a school-sponsored program, Panthers on Wall Street. I had big plans to enter the workforce for a banking or finance job once I finished school, but my business just wouldn't stop growing. I partnered with my current fellow owners Jonathan Goldsmith and Michael Thibadeau and we created Lawn Capital, LLC. Today we have over 19 employees and are located right in the heart of Decatur. While my current destination is still unknown, I've learned that everything can change in seconds.
