I currently serve as a Direct Air Capture Hubs Program Manager in the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Carbon Management, where I am focused on building the carbon removal ecosystem in the United States.Previously, I was the founder and president of Carbon-Based Consulting LLC, where I offered techno-economic assessment, life cycle assessment, and custom services to companies working on carbon removal and decarbonization.Past projects include integrated techno-economic assessments (TEAs) and life cycle assessments (LCAs) of technologies ranging from novel direct air capture (DAC) processes to various photochemical and electrochemical CO2 reduction systems. Other past projects include market research relevant to carbon utilization, TEA and LCA template development, and research on technology learning curves. I thoroughly enjoy working with diverse research teams to study and improve the environmental, social, and economic performance of emerging technologies that can mitigate climate change as effectively as possible!
