- Responsible for the developing and deployment of Office VTSO add-ins via click-to-run to streamline business processes, as well as more typical Windows Forms projects written in C#. - Creating and maintaining a large array of Excel reports for on-the-fly process automation in the interim of a TMS migration in which most things will be converted in to BI reports.- Working on migration from transport management system Stirling Transport and associated products, to a new cutting-edge system.- Implementing a POD scanning solution for trucks, including creation of branded instructional videos for drivers, hardware installation and general maintenance.- Developing new web applications primarily with Laravel and its MVC (Model, View, Controller) architecture, such as a new company intranet.- Creation of marketing material; email signatures, business cards, flyers, etc.

- Maintenance, development and user support of a logistics system and related connected applications based on an IBM iSeries AS/400 system. Entails the writing and testing of technical specifications and change requests, creation and execution of SQL queries to amend data, troubleshooting errors or inconsistencies, and some level of user training.- Configuration and maintenance of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messaging through various platforms (Odex, Lobster_Data) covering a large range of protocols (HTTP/API, (S)FTP, FTPS, AMQP, SMTP, etc.) and file formats (JSON, XML, Fixed Record, EDIFACT, CSV, XLSX, etc.). This messaging goes through all sorts of validation through the likes of regular expressions and generic programming logic, most data inserted to a DB2 database via SQL.- Creation of BI (Business Intelligence) reports collating and manipulating a wide range of data (deliveries, invoicing, holidays, etc.) through IBM Cognos Impromptu.- Development of frequently used Excel macros written in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), interfacing with the previously mentioned logistics system via ODBC connectors & SQL allowing for importing and extraction of data.- Designed user interface for Proof of Delivery mobile app in HTML5 and CSS3 through SOTI which transporter drivers make use of.- Developed in-house PHP web applications such as a time-tracking application and truck servicing calendar based on Laravel and it's MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture, making use of the TALL stack - TailwindCSS, AlpineJS and Livewire, with unit testing in PHPUnit, user interface wireframing in Figma, source control and CI/CD in GitLab, all deploying to Linux-based AWS EC2 instances.- Managed the development of a third-party mobile app for customer order tracking entailing basic security testing (SQL injection, brute-forcing, rate limitations, etc), writing of original specification, wireframing the user interface, and frequent change requests for updates.
