The Initial goals included unifying a fractured IT organization, optimizing IT infrastructure, modernizing technology applications, and addressing audit findings to maintain regulatory compliance. I drive technology initiatives in loan portfolio management, mobile banking, item processing, and business intelligence. Also, I integrally contribute to M&A activity, directing IT conversion of $2 billon bank and adding 21 branches.► Developed rolling 3-year technology strategic plan, which delivered $1.5 million in savings by rebuilding technology and software infrastructure with capacity for integration and scalability. ► Upgraded consumer lending platforms for exponential growth, raising portfolio capacity from several hundred million to $1 billion+. Upgraded MortgageWare to E3, upgraded DecisionPro and LaserPro, and deployed DealerTrack and Route 1.► Instituted Blitzdocs paperless integrated imaging solution for mortgage origination, to eliminate 300,000-600,000 of printed paper each month, rendering a seamless process from origination through post-closing.► Launched Imaging and Workflow technology utilizing Knowledgelake Capture and Sharepoint Archiving allowing the organization to reduce paper based processes, automate workflow steps and drive process re-engineering. ► Articulated remote data access strategy, initially using BlackBerry solutions, currently migrating to iPhones. This is the shared services arm of ABN AMRO North America and LaSalle, a $115 billion regional commercial and retail bank. I advanced to this role to lead change and transformation, as ABN AMRO sought to migrate from siloed IT operations across multiple countries into a shared services organization. My scope encompassed overseeing technology strategy and architecture, risk management, application development, software testing, configuration management, audit operations, and regulatory compliance. I managed a $50 million+ IT budget. I was a voting member on the Infrastructure Steering Committee determining strategic investments in IT infrastructure. I directed 100+ staff and up to 400 consultants. Reported to the CIO. ► Lived in Amsterdam for 18 months to lead negotiations with 3rd party suppliers to provision services to new shared services organization. Talks encompassed capacity development, resource optimization, and expenses.► Directed multi-national team in building global software and infrastructure sourcing program, among largest of its kind in the world, with objective to deliver $500 million total value over 5 years. ► Established enterprise architecture program to evaluate critical systems and define investment strategy to rationalize multi-million architecture spend across diverse business lines, prioritize core architecture, and eliminate redundancy.► Opened testing center of excellence, leveraging technology specialists in Amsterdam, Brazil, the US, and India to drive integration, user acceptance, and performance testing.
