I stumbled into Franchising, worked with more than 100 franchisees most of which were early entry Entrepreneurs. Long version:Started out my career in Steel Manufacturing, managing products straight off the press, through the factory, onto the trucks to the clients, maintaining relationships plus new business. (Clients were Steiner Hygiene, Rentokil Initial, Total Hygiene and Cobb Global)Very process orientated, customer and quality centric. My passion is in great products, sales, recruitment and marketing. Immigrating to the South of Spain in the early-mid 2000's was a eye opener! Great for sunshine, but not so easy for anyone from manufacturing. I was fortunate to find opportunities in off-plan property for the first few years, barely survived the 2008 mortgage crisis which seemed to go on for years. Good thing was learning to sell internationally. A lot of it was outbound cold calling plus working with warm leads selling full off-plan developments.In 2012 was offered a role with a Global Recruitment Agency in Mining and Oil & Gas. Recruitment is a sales process and it was great, was also a role that I stumbled into and had to crash course figure it out. Literally learned everything from scratch, interviewing talent to finding clients. The opportunity to help entrepreneurs came with an offer to join a recruitment franchise. This formed the basis to later on form a recruitment and technology company, learned everything from creating the commercial models, setting up the company, the board, the brand, the tools plus the design of the technology from scratch! Was very Fortunate to have partnered with a former IBM Innovation Lab team for Robotic Automation Software, Forrester research rated IBM in top spot for Automation Software Engineering. I guess the question is "how can one receive value from this?" I've created a way for aspiring Entrepreneurs to communicate on a day to day basis.
