1,000 Faces project is a process whereby I created 1,000 pieces of artwork each featuring elements of face, henna design, and heroic/personal mythology. In mid-2009, 498 of the 1,000 artworks were lost. The first 1,000 were completed in 2011. Interestingly, after the 1,000th piece was done, I just kept going. As of 2014, we are midway through the second set of 1,000 pieces, although the pieces are now very diverse including mixed media, clay, wood/thread, and more. From sorting fan mail to setting up green room; from coordinating photo shoots to making sure the art team had the paint they needed; from archiving materials to delivering new scripts or revisions to the team.
