I am originally from Haddonfield, New Jersey, and earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry, graduating cum laude from the College of Charleston. My academic journey included conducting analytical chemistry research focused on using magnetic nanoparticles for water treatment and nutrient recovery (bachelor’s thesis posted below). In addition, I gained valuable experience working in the chemical stockroom at the School of Sciences and Mathematics, where I assisted in organizing and preparing materials for academic labs.Currently, I am working with Spectrix Analytical Services in a Johnson & Johnson Compound Logistics lab in Spring House, PA. In this role, I contribute to drug discovery by utilizing automated processes to prepare small molecule compounds in various phases. My responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of workflows, allowing projects to meet critical deadlines.I have developed hands-on expertise in instrumental analysis, particularly in Ion Chromatography, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Mass Spectroscopy (MS), and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR). Alongside technical skills, I bring strong interpersonal, computer, organizational, and safety competencies to the table.I am enthusiastic about continuing my growth within the pharmaceutical industry at Spectrix Analytical Services while further bridging the gap between academia and industry applications.
