I am a proud University of Alabama graduate currently working as a Controls Engineer and a Project Manager. Working at a small company has provided me with flexibility to fill both roles as needed and gain a breadth of experience. My focus is spent mainly on Controls Engineering, going through a variety of courses during our downtime. This has provided me a great understanding of HMI programming, AutoCAD LT, and ladder logic programming. I have also engaged with workshops to learn about Universal Robotics Cobots and Cognex Easy Builder in project-based learning environments.Outside the office I strive to better myself both personally and professionally. I practice my skills I learned from school making projects using embedded systems and software languages such as C++. My personal interest has steered towards IoT development, toying with Raspberry Pi computers and Arduino boards.
