Tickets2TheFuture is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to bridge key gaps in youth financial literacy education and provide free resources, advising, and programs to underrepresented communities. As a Board Member, I govern, coordinate, and participate in executive meetings and company decision-making processes with a focus on the high-level strategy, oversight, and accountability of our organization. The board oversees a large team of directors that coordinates volunteers and interns for fundraising, developing accessible social media content, planning and executing events, working with partner organizations, networking with community leaders and media outlets, and other work to carry out the mission of Tickets2TheFuture as well as continuously grow to broaden the scope of our impact.

My operations as Community Director included managing and creating social media content, creating and growing a sustainable administrative team with other Co-Founders and Directors to ensure the longevity and future of the organization, communicating and building relationships with other organizations and individuals, and planning and running events to promote youth financial literacy to combat low social mobility and educational inequalities. During my time as Community Director, I established partnerships with William Blair & Company, YMCA of the USA, Scholastic Choices, Scouts BSA and Girl Scouts of the USA, The Latin American Coalition, Allegacy Financial Credit Union, TruLoan Mortgage, Common Wealth Charlotte, and several schools, summer programs, and other organizations to make a community and nationwide effort to provide financial literacy education and resources to all.

Led two to five employees on a shift, ensuring that high standards of sales, customer satisfaction, and cleanliness were maintained. Worked with upper location management to account for sales, take inventories, and communicate with company officials and others for necessary services. Participated in the training and management of several employees.
