About Griffin Garner
I am a recent graduate of the Masters of Advances Studies Program in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. My capstone project was a waste-to-bait research project where I created bait products from fish waste for California commercial trap fisheries to reduce waste and the economic burdens of bait on fishermen. I am also a graduate of Santa Clara University with an Environmental Studies degree. Having both domestic and international work and research experiences, I can bring unique views and ideas to community-oriented solutions to further social impact. My passions all revolve around the ocean: surfing, fishing, diving, and cooking.
