• Junior banker and lead analytical support on municipal financial advisory teams consisting of 3 to 5 professionals. Clients include approximately 40 towns, cities, counties, utility systems, and multi-jurisdictional authorities in VA, NC, OH, PA, and WV.• Complete 300+ private and public debt issuances with a total par amount of approximately $4.9 billion. Transactions include new money and refunding issuances of general obligation, lease revenue, water and sewer utility revenue, economic development revenue, and limited obligation bonds.• Provide analytical and logistical support on debt transactions. Structure bonds using DBC Finance bond sizing software, prepare pitch books and client presentations, coordinate deal timelines, assess market conditions, assist in preparing offering documents, review legal documents, and price bonds.• Train, manage, and mentor 1 to 2 analysts at a time in support of the team’s senior banker(s). Approximately 10 analysts managed in total. Delegate tasks, set deadlines, evaluate performance, and provide ongoing support and instruction.• Collaborate with senior banker(s) to develop and administer multi-year capital plans that enable clients to responsibly satisfy debt-funded capital needs.• Prepare and deliver presentations that illustrate results of quantitative analyses and explain the advisory team’s recommendations to audiences with varying levels of financial sophistication, e.g. publicly elected boards and rating agency analysts.• Develop and present 50+ credit packages that provide rating agencies with a detailed review of the issuer’s financial, debt, economic, and demographic standing.• Create Excel models of historical financials and outstanding debt to identify trends and potential credit strengths and weaknesses.• Build Excel pro forma models to calculate the impact of planned debt issuances on debt ratios, coverage ratios, fund balances, cash reserves, and cash flows.
