About Griffin Conant
I co-founded and served as Vice President of Showcase Sports Media, a company that created a platform to elevate sports writers and podcasters both locally and nationally. I also hosted The Showcase Sports Show, a podcast dedicated to covering all things sports. Although operations ceased in late 2021, the experience of managing the company, forging connections, and assisting others in breaking into the sports industry has been invaluable.I worked as a football scout for the Prep Network, where I attended high school games, produced player-focused analysis, and wrote written content. I also engaged with coaches and players across Colorado to support their personal branding and recruitment efforts.In my role as Associate Editor of Sports Betting and Fantasy Sports at ClutchPoints, I oversaw daily editorial, social, and video content related to sports betting and fantasy sports.In the summer of 2024, I interned as the Head of Public Relations for the Arizona Rattlers and Tucson Sugar Skulls of the Indoor Football League. In this role, I managed a range of media staff responsibilities, including social media management, content creation, article publishing, and writing game notes. I am a member of the Maxwell Football Club and voter of the Maxwell Football and Chuck Bednarik Award. In late 2024, I accepted a role with Athlon Sports to cover and write for the Texas Longhorns (Longhorns Country), the Alabama Crimson Tide (All Crimson Tide), and the Las Vegas Raiders (Raiders Today). I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management. Passionate about sports and dedicated to people, I bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact. My diverse experiences have been instrumental in my professional growth, and I am eager to continue developing new skills to advance my career and prepare for future opportunities.
