This was a high-quality EBC which hosted on a daily basis, customer executives from all over the EMEA region, providing briefings, workshops, facility tours, technology demonstrations and executive catering. The operation was worked in close alignment with the EMEA Sales leadership organisations across the region and business results in terms of deal closure was >90% from visits hosted at the site. I also led the development of a similar facility and operation at our Lodz, Poland facility in 2007, mirroring the successful formula used in Limerick. My role also encompassed engagement with the wider community in Limerick - from hotel and transport vendors, to Education/University, Social and Tourist contexts. The EBC based at the Dell Limerick factory ceased operation with the ultimate closure of the manufacturing operation in 2010. Show less

I volunteered for Special Olympics Ireland for the 2014 Games @ Limerick (having also done same for 2010 Games). As well as serving on the Limerick Leadership Council, I was the Venue Manager for the largest games location - University of Limerick Arena, encompassing Aquatics, Basketball and Athletics. I managed an overall team of 420 volunteers in operational areas from Games Management, Facilities, Event and Guest Services, to Operations, Health & Safety and Communications.
