I am extremely motivated to work and learn more IT skills from different career perspectives. My current position is with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services as an IT Support Specialist.I, most importantly, provide IT Support for colleagues at HQ and other offices across VA, both in person and virtually, so they can continue to effectively serve our amazing veterans here in VA. My role also consists of asset management, administrative roles for 5 other systems, and playing a heavy role in a couple of projects.For example, I am the main admin for two Virtual soft-phone systems: DVS’s Virtual Contact Center- I played a big part in setting up this system, including writing and modifying scripting, and we went live with it in August as part of our Virginia Veterans Networking plan and Virtual Communications Express- I’ve been migrating all of our benefits offices to the system and providing training for the users, both Verizon Enterprise systems. I’ve been working on migrating our fax machines to an eFax system as well the main admin for the system. All to help our outreach teams to better serve our veterans. I recently successfully headed up a small project separating a small agency from DVS called VSF by working with VITA and other groups to make sure they got everything they needed. I’m also the main admin for DocuSign at our agency and I recently created a form in DocuSign for VVN for Organizations and Companies to apply so they can work with DVS’s new VVN system to assist Veterans with many different challenges across VA. I, also, manage our QR Code system. Other tasks are assigned to me as needed to serve my agencies mission along with covering for colleagues if they are out.I graduated with my Associate of Science - Computer Science from J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College and currently attending VCU - College of Engineering studying to get my Bachelor of Science - Computer Science.
