Key projects:- Led the development of a new application used by over 300 business users globally. This product was an in-house replacement of a SaaS tool which has been successfully replaced and business adopted. Working with stakeholders to deliver the project, garner requirements from the user base and led a team of around 20 developers and testers. Also served as scrum master on the team throughout the course of the project.- Led a team of 6 Data Scientists and developers working a series of short proof-of-concept projects, taking a digital improvement idea and identifying the technical viability and approach to assess whether the project could progress to MVP phase.

Providing independent consultancy for a range of contract roles. Key roles and highlights during this period: Solely responsible for the development and submission of global bank data to Global Credit Data – an agency backed by a worldwide consortium of banks, recognised by regulators. The role entailed analysis of the requirements, mapping these with internal data availability and developing and managing a project plan and data strategy to deliver successfully. There was a large amount of stakeholder management with senior management, the agency and regional teams liaising on project plans and strategy.Developing and delivering a solution that enabled stress testing data to be delivered to the regulatory body, EBA (European Banking Authority). The role included business analysis on the requirements, data sourcing and development of the tool and quality checks that would satisfy an audit as well as the development of MI/reconciliation reporting.Working for a start-up company which delivers credit-cycle solutions to financial institutions I was responsible for developing and documenting a full testing policy and strategy within the company. With nothing in place I developed a full development and testing structure that could be implemented and communicated to clients to provide auditable evidence of data quality and solution development processes. Working on the project to migrate global data from a variety of sources into a single Big Data solution to be used for modelling, monitoring and analysis purposes. Work involved technical and business analysis on the systems, requirements capture, design and development of the full end-to- end system, implementing the ETL process that delivered a SAS data warehouse used globally.Working on the support and development team for an Operational Risk solution, implementing the SAS EGRC application upgrade. This included a new data model and the requirement to maintain customisations within the platform.

Undertaking responsibility for the Data Solution of a major International client, delivering solutions to 14 different markets across the Globe, holding 8Tb of data, ensuring smooth operations of the ETL process and delivery of the monthly reporting suite as well as working closely with the client to ensure future strategies are aligned with Data capabilities and the Data Strategy itself.The role included management of a team of data specialists, working on operations, maintenance and enhancement of the solution. Also given direct management of the CRM campaigns, responsible for a team to strategically target mailings with key deliverables required to be met. Responsible for the delivery of the quarterly UK statement for the client, mailing approximately 2 million customers each quarter.

Technical SAS Consultant role working in the Telecoms, Banking, Medical, Retail and Utilities industries for many major companies.Projects included working within Customer Marketing teams to provide insights and analysis, implementing new Data Warehouses and providing technical resource within a pharmaceutical research data company.In 2006 I performed a more strategic role within the Management Consulting area of the business, dealing with senior level staff in major financial institutions. The role involved working on the development of a new Operational Model for the Global Ops team for a Multi-National bank and project managing a large Data Quality project, leading a team of consultants and working closely with key client stakeholders.Joining the company as a Graduate, I progressed and was promoted to Senior Consultant in 2006 and led various projects.

The role involved providing first and second line PC and Network Support for over 300 employees. Many of these employees were Japanese and many problems were required to be resolved working on Japanese Windows machines – this highlighted an ability to follow logical methods and processes to efficiently complete tasks.
