At H&H Products, I worked as a buyer who managed the inventory needs of the manufacturing company. To do this, I commutated and developed relationships with multiple vendors to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery schedules of the products we needed. I also worked with the CFO to develop inventory processes in order to move from a batch manufacturing process to real time implementation. I also worked with managers from other departments to develop inter-department company processes so work could flow more smoothly through the company system. Another aspect of my job was to analyze daily production reports and look for issues that might have come up during the production process. I would report these findings to the President of the company.

At Christie Lites, I worked as a buyer for a fast paced, high capacity entertainment lighting company. There I was in charge of buying capital expenses and inventory such as lighting fixtures, consoles, truss, rigging, etc. I worked with a variety of vendors where I developed a working relationships to ensure proper equipment was ordered in time and delivered in order to meet tight deadlines demanded from the production schedule. While there, I also worked with my department head and the audit department to help refine and implement department procedures and processes based on the changing needs of the company. This allowed everyone in the department to work more efficiently and productively to meet extremely tight deadlines and a heavy workload.

-Input and monitor purchase orders for multiple departments for 12 different time-share resort properties and the corporate management company based on brand standards for all properties across the board.-Monitor all pricing, item numbers, and GL codes; correct company targets for POs before submitting through the approval process so orders are always ready to be placed correctly upon approval.-Communicate and negotiate with multiple vendors to secure best pricing for products bought across multiple resorts.-Assist resort managers with securing items for special projects as these opportunities arise.-Maintain an accurate preferred-brands list so resorts have the most updated list to work from when requesting orders.-Monitor received orders, order reships, and manage returns and account credits.-Assist accounting department with invoices.
