Political scientist, educator and a civil society activist with considerable practice in consolidating youth. Co-founder & current CEO of the Armenian Progressive Youth NGO - one of the largest youth movements in Armenia. Former elected Member of the City Council of Armenia’s capital Yerevan (2018-2021), a Governing Board Member of Youth for Exchange and Understanding International (2019-2020), a One Young World Coordinating Ambassador for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (2014-2015). A College of Europe graduate with an MA degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies. Worked at the EU’s European Economic and Social Committee (2015-2016). Led number of local and international youth empowerment projects focusing on democratic education, civic participation and active citizenship, social inclusion and economic participation of marginalized youth, student rights and quality in higher education. Worked as a consultant and expert for several international organizations. Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential and become movers and shakers who influence positive change.
