Cloud Four was founded by four former Kavi employees to focus on mobile web development. Cloud Four has been recognized as one of the leading agencies working on mobile web development.In addition to my role as an owner and founder, I assist clients with their mobile strategy. I help them determine what platforms to target, what technology to use and how to build a product that is a joy to use.

In late 2007, my co-founders at Cloud Four and I realized that there wasn't a group in Portland dedicated to promoting and educating people about mobile technology. We started Mobile Portland to fill that void.Modeled after Mobile Mondays, Mobile Portland has grown from it's modest roots into a vibrant community of over 1,000 people. Our monthly events average nearly 100 people.

Direct the Professional Services Group (PSG) consisting of 15 employees. This group is responsible for launching all new customer sites, developing custom software, and providing ongoing custom care and support. Conduct performance reviews, hiring and provide mentoring for team members. Led the development of support website with ticket-tracking system, project management processes, customer support philosophy, and new employee training. Provide technical direction for solution architects and developers. As part of the senior management, I report directly to the President on the Professional Services business unit which accounts for approximately 45% of KAVI’s annual revenue.While my primary responsibilities are management, KAVI is still a small company. I retain a small number of customers relationships, manage some of the more challenging projects, and continue to contribute as programmer, designer and information architect to help my team members be successful.

Managed a growing number of customer accounts and projects. Consulted customers on the best ways to utilize KAVI web applications and custom software development to accomplish their organization objectives. Developed proposals based on customer requirements and then managed the execution of projects by coordinating the efforts of engineers and designers.In addition to my primary job responsibilities, I often contributed directly to our development efforts. Created the initial version of a content management system as well as add-on solution options.

Redesigned corporate website and grew traffic from 1,504 to 20,347 visitor sessions per month. Planned company-wide Internet deployment including vendor selection and management of email server. Created intranet and extranet solutions for internal and partner communication.

Responsible for organization and resource allocation for twenty counties, supervision of two field assistants, volunteer coordination. Assisted campaign manager and candidate with planning and strategy direction.

Researched, proposed and implement public relations program aimed at retaining students in the residence halls. Completed department communication audit and recommended changes in overall department message.
