I served as Executive Producer of the virtual performance assessment component of the Maryland & Ohio Comprehensive Assessment System in partnership with The Johns Hopkins University Center for Technology in Education. The program embeds kindergarten entry assessments within engaging interactive activities. The program launched statewide in Maryland and Ohio in Fall 2014 and has expanded to other states since.Previously, I supported Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's ongoing sales, marketing, research and product development efforts for PBS KIDS PLAY, a game-based online early learning (PreK-1) program for home and school that results in significant gains in vocabulary acquisition and other essential skills. I also assisted in developing the "i Learn With" cross-curricular tablet program for PreK-K.

I founded and led the Game & App Publishing team at PBS. Our portfolio included award-winning Web and Native apps for PCs, tablets and mobile devices in the Kids, Education, and Game genres. In 2008, my team launched the PBS KIDS PLAY! game-based school readiness program. In 2009, we established the highly successful PBS presence on the iPhone OS. In 2010, we released our first tablet game day and date with the launch of the iPad. Independent studies have confirmed the educational impact of our products, which are used by millions of families every month.
